JNLFLUSH

"JNLFLUSH"[:region]

Writes or flushes journaling buffers associated with the given region to permanent storage, for example, to disk. If the VIEW "JNLFLUSH" does not specify the optional region, GT.M flushes all active regions of the current Global Directory.

Normally GT.M writes journal buffers when it fills the journal buffer pool or when some period of time passes with no journal activity.

For more information on journaling, refer to the "GT.M Journaling" chapter in the GT.M Administration and Operations Guide.
